One common way mice enter your home is through irregularities in your home s foundation where it meets the siding.

Several years ago my parents had to have their poured patio removed because these cute little critters tunneled under it to the point it caused it to lower several inches and eventually cracked in two. Chip monks are just that. A rodent as is a rat or a mouse.
They are destructive dirty and need to be removed. Look near the foundation of your home for any holes or cracks that chipmunks may be able to squeeze through. Chipmunks can also fit into natural openings like vents chimneys and pipes. Chipmunks may climb up and find ways to enter your home.
Look for holes in your lawn tiny footprints. Tiny holes in your siding are also dangerous since a chipmunk can fit into a space as small as two inches wide. Chipmunks may try to get into your home during the winter months if there are openings large enough. You can find gaps and cracks along the siding after inspection.
Look for broken siding on your exterior walls or shingles on your roof.
