Clean Up Wax From Carpet

To remove wax from carpet you ll need the following on hand.

Clean up wax from carpet. Run the warm iron over the cloth until the wax melts. Remove beeswax from carpeting clothes or fabric using an iron. The heat will draw the wax out of the carpet and into the towel. Turn the iron onto a warm not hot setting with the steam turned off.

A hair dryer set to the hottest setting can also be used to remove wax from carpet. Heat an iron to a medium setting with no steam and press the iron to the paper bag directly over the wax. Bag of ice or an ice pack iron a hair dryer can work in a pinch paper towel terry cloth towel or brown paper bag. Place a piece of brown paper bag or clean kitchen towel on top of the wax.

Using a warm iron slowly press the iron on top of the paper bag or cloth. Remove the plastic bag and begin to scrape the wax off the carpet using a dull knife. Put the iron on top of the. Dampen a white cotton towel fold it in half and place it over the wax. You may have yielded brilliant results but to really finish the job off well you need to clean the carpet. You ll see that the material will start to absorb the wax and lift it off the carpet.

Cover the wax start by simply placing the bag over an area where the wax spilled. The remaining pieces may budge with a little bit of friction. Place a clean paper bag with no printing or a paper towel over the wax.
