Cleaning Marble In The Bathroom

Use mild detergents that will be gentle on your marble floor.
If you want to go the easy route try a commercially available stone cleaner. Most of these are very acidic or alkaline based and will quickly etch your marble. Marble surfaces should be cleaned with soft cotton cloths and clean rag mops along with neutral cleaners mild liquid dishwashing detergent mixed with water or stone cleaners. Clean marble tiles at least once a week using either a specially formulated marble cleanser or a mild non acid household cleaner. And definitely don t use the average bathroom grout cleaner or tub and tile type cleaners. For cleaning grout i d use the concentrated heavy duty tile grout cleaner.
Once you start noticing water stains on your marble tiles you will know a coat of sealant was long overdue. Wet the entire area with hot water then apply the cleaning.
