Lakeshore kendo club is a group of enthusiastic and dedicated kendo practitioners or kenshi in chicago illinois. At this time all club activities in lincoln park have been cancelled until park areas east of lake shore drive are officially open. The illinois fencers club promotes and teaches the olympic sport of fencing to students of all ages and skill levels and provides a friendly venue for members to practice their sport. We welcome students of all levels from beginner to competitive ages 7 and up. The club is still one of the few teams at the university of chicago which successfully competes against big ten schools such as notre dame and ohio state.
